Al Sadd Sports Club is a Qatari multi-sports club based in Al-Sadd district of the city of Doha, and is home to Qatar's leading football team, holding the highest record of championships in the country. It is also the de facto home of Qatar's National Football Team. Al-Sadd Sports Club was developed as a prime official stadium for the Asian Games of 2006.
Phase 1 included the design of the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. The stadium was used as one of Qatar’s most important football stadiums, and the official matches including the final football match were played there.
The stadium was designed for a seating capacity of 22,000 spectators including the retractable seats used for the Asian Games of 2006, and has facilities for up to 4 football teams.
The corporate boxes are designed to be first class seating areas, with a personal television for VIPS who attend the foremost national and international matches.
